Grand Bassa Senator Jonathan Kaipay has been certificated for what Bassa citizens called his commitment in ensuring the passage of the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene at the Legislature.
Speaking during the certification ceremony, Assistant Minister of Public Works George Yarngo said he was overwhelmed he was for the support shown to the passage into law of the WASH Bill at the Legislature.
Yarngo noted that decision making must be based on tangible work and not words.
Responding, Sen. Jonathan Kaipay termed his recognition and certification as timely. He said he has been involved for 12 years with water, sanitation and hygiene under the Methodist Church activities.
Sen. Kaipay pledged his commitment in seeing to it the WASH law implemented upon approval by President Sirleaf.
