The General Auditing Commission (GAC) recently released its report on the US$25 Million intended to mop out excess Liberian banknotes, detailing colossal discrepancies in the process. The GAC did not pin the discrepancies on Finance Minister Samuel Tweah, but threw the burden of proof on the Central Bank of Liberia for carelessly disbursing huge sums of money without proper checks and balances.
