The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) in Grand Bassa County has arrested a man, identified as Moses Swah for illegal possession of lethal weapon.
Major Joseph Tajjgendine, County Commander of DEA told our Correspondent Monday in Buchanan that Moses Swah, 37, was arrested in the St. John River District Saturday evening, while enroute from Bong County to Grand Bassa.
Major Taggidine is therefore calling on residents of Bassa to report strange people in their communities.
He stated that the DEA remains committed to maintaining the peace in Liberia.
At the same time, the LDEA County Commander is encouraging citizens in possession of small arms to inform the Joint Security and District leaders.
According to Maj. Taggidine, it is criminal to have small arm without the approval of authorities, noting that anyone who violates the law will be dealt with under the law.
