Former District #8 Rep. Moses Acarous Gray showed his magnanimous side in Monrovia when he gave generously to the William V.S. Tubman High School. Gray wanted to put some smiles on the faces of students and faculty at the public high school.
In a Facebook post, Gray announced, “Administration and students of William V. S. Tubman High School today appreciated our efforts of 7k USD for the painting of the classrooms.”
He asserts, “Today, we also presented $800usd for the painting of their basketball court and will be presenting two sets of jerseys, two basketballs and nets for the rings.”
And then his usual militant voice, he declares, “We remain committed to the academic arena as always,” heralding the maxim: “Climbing Jacob’s ladder and I wouldn’t come down.”
Political pundits wonder to what end Gray is digging deep in his pocket when he just got voted out of office. One CDCian told me, “That’s the guys fighting spirit. Don’t be surprised to see him back in the house of elders.”
